Anti-Insect DEET lotion 50%, 60ml
Care Plus® Anti-Insect DEET is effective against house mosquitoes (Culex species) and mosquitoes that can cause malaria (Anopheles species) and yellow fever (Aedes species). Care Plus® Anti-Insect DEET is also effective against ticks (Ixodes species) that can cause Lyme disease and tick-borne encephalitis.
Our Care Plus® Anti-Insect DEET products are available in concentrations of 30%, 40% and 50%. The percentage determines how long the product remains effective. Young children put products in their mouth while exploring their surroundings without being aware of the potential danger. Care Plus® Anti-Insect DEET products therefore contain the odorless and bitter substance Bitrex®. Bitrex® reduces the likelihood of the repellent being swallowed.
DEET is the abbreviation for the active ingredient N,N-diethyl-m-toluamide (CAS no. 134-62 -3). DEET is the strongest insect repellent for the skin, suitable for all destinations, both far from and close to home.
Tropicare has registered Care Plus® Anti-Insect DEET as a biocide and the product complies with all safety requirements for humans, the environment and effectiveness of use, provided it is used as instructed. Please read the label and instructions before using the product. The availability of Care Plus® Anti-Insect DEET depends on local biocide regulations.
